What is a cloud server and how does it differ from shared hosting?
A cloud server provides you with fully dedicated resources (processor, memory, storage) on cloud infrastructure, giving you higher performance and full control compared to shared hosting where resources are shared with other websites.
Can I upgrade my cloud server resources later?
Yes. Upgrading means moving to a larger plan — open a ticket or talk to us, we agree on the new plan and a migration window, and we move you with the least downtime possible. There is no live resource resize from the control panel.
What operating systems are available on cloud servers?
We offer a wide range of operating systems including Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Windows Server and more. You can choose the right system during server setup or change it later.
Does the cloud server include DDoS protection?
Yes. DDoS protection runs at the provider network level and covers every server at no extra cost, and a provider-level firewall is available for you to enable free of charge. The server is handed to you with root access, so securing and patching it afterwards is yours to do — if you would rather we watched and updated it, managed service is an option at configuration time.
How do backups work on a server?
The plan includes backup space, but the server is yours with full root access — you decide what gets backed up and when. On the managed plan our team sets up the schedule, watches it, and restores on request. Shared hosting is different: daily backups run automatically there and you can restore them yourself from cPanel.
What is the money-back guarantee policy for cloud servers?
Cloud and dedicated servers are **not** covered by the money-back guarantee: we reserve them from an external provider and pay the full term up front, and that cost is not returned to us. What you can do at any time is switch off auto-renewal before the term ends, so you are not billed for another period. The guarantee applies to shared hosting and company email on annual subscriptions — see the refund policy for details.
